It becomes our sanctuary when we need some time to relax, or just to get away from the world. But as much as we love it, there are always things that need to be done. A bathroom vanity is a piece of furniture that is typically found in a bathroom and it is used for storing toiletries. The design of the vanity can vary from being very simple to very elaborate, but there are some common features that all vanities have. It is the focal point of any bathroom. It is the place where you prepare for your day and where you can relax at the end of it. The style of your bathroom vanity will affect how you use it, but also how you feel when you are in it. How to Choose the Right Bathroom Vanity for Your Space? Bathroom vanities can be a huge investment. It is important to take measurements of your space and see what options are available in before you buy something. Choosing the right bathroom vanity is not as easy as you might think. There are many factors to take into account and it is important that you make the right decision for your space. The first thing to consider is the style of your bathroom. If you have a modern or contemporary styled bathroom, then a more minimalist and sleek design would be most suitable. If you have a traditionally styled bathroom, then a more ornate design would be best suited to complement this style. The next thing to consider is the size of the vanity that will fit in your space. This includes height, width and depth dimensions so that it can fit in with your décor and not look too big or too small in comparison to other fixtures in the room such as mirrors or doorways. Atlantis Hotel is made up of 280 hotel suites and 18 residential levels. We successfully maximised the site in height and bulk by pushing title boundary limits with town planning. Balconies overhang above the street to maximise the building footprint. Clever design included small and affordable studio apartments with the added flexibility to combine two or three apartments without impacting on construction costs. It was conceived in a modern idiom with a slight oriental tinge. It provides all the standard features of a luxury hotel: restaurants, bars, spa, gymnasium and a swimming pool. The top three floors offer penthouse accommodation with multiple suites in 2 – 4 key combinations, all with stunning views of the city or the bay. External materials including natural stone, aluminium cladding and glass were all incorporated. The interior wall surfaces feature blond cherry veneers and the floors in polished stone, wood or luxurious carpet. The ambiance was designed to promote tranquility, meditation and a zen quality – offering the guests an oasis of peace in the sea of city bustle.
